How Does the Program Work?
Individuals over the age of 18 diagnosed with or recovering from cancer are eligible to participate. Individuals currently in treatment or receiving treatment within the past six month are given priority.
Once enrolled, a match is made with an experienced Reiki or Healing Touch provider for weekly sessions scheduled at a convenient time and location. Program duration lasts between three to six months and sessions occur at approved facilities in Denver, Lakewood, Boulder and Englewood; placement is based on scheduling and provider availability.
Fee to Participate:
With a commitment to affordable care, LifeSpark's Energy Partners program is offered on a greatly reduced sliding scale based upon an individual's ability to pay. Fees range from $1 to $20 per session.

Energy therapies complement and support traditional medical treatment. Through the process of light hands-on touch, this program assists individuals with cancer in gently restoring balance to their mind, body and spirit.
Current research indicates that Reiki and Healing Touch, two of the program's approved energy therapies, may reduce an individual's fatigue, anxiety and depression while diminishing the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation. Profound relaxation and increased vitality are commonly reported. |
