Volunteer your Reiki and Healing Touch skills

Participate in this innovative program and be a part of a community of healers working together to make a difference in our world.  Use your energy therapy skills to support someone with cancer on a weekly basis while being part of an energy therapy community. Qualifications to participate:

• Completed Level II Healing Touch or Second Degree Reiki
• Actively use the modality with at least 50 sessions of experience.  If you are close to 50 sessions but not quite there you can still attend the seminar.
• Availability to provide weekly sessions at an approved facility.  Locations for sessions.   AND/OR ability to provide sessions at community events and fairs throughout the year.
• Attendance at the New Provider Seminar.  Details of seminar.
  
• Nurse or other health professional background is a plus but not required
• Please note: We conduct a criminal background check and check references for all providers entering this program.

How to Participate:

1. Complete an enrollment form.  Enrollment form.  For those with a financial hardship, financial aid may be available. Financial aid form.
2. Attend the New Providers Seminar held in the spring and fall of each year. See details. This required 18-hour seminar prepares you for working specifically with individuals with cancer. Curriculum includes energetic principles of cancer, session protocols, ethics, an exploration of psychological issues, and more.
