Volunteer your Reiki and Healing Touch skills

Participate in this innovative program and be a part of a community of healers working together to make a difference in our world.  Use your energy therapy skills to support someone with cancer on a weekly basis while being part of an energy therapy community. Qualifications to participate:

• Completed Level II Healing Touch or Second Degree Reiki
• Actively use the modality with at least 50 sessions of experience
• Availability to provide weekly sessions at an approved facility generally during weekday business hours.  Locations for sessions.
• Attendence at the New Provider Seminar.  Details of seminar.
  
• Carry professional liabiltiy insurance. Sources of insurance.
• Nurse or other health professional background is a plus but not required
• Please note: We conduct a criminal background check and check references for all providers entering this program.
  
  

We are seeking bi-lingual Reiki and Healing Touch providers for Denver's Spanish-speaking population. If you fit this category, or know of someone who does please contact us.

How to Participate:

1. Complete an enrollment form.  Enrollment form. For those with a financial hardship, financial aid may be available. Financial aid form.
2. Attend the New Providers Seminar held in the spring and fall of each year. See details. This required 18-hour seminar prepares you for working specifically with individuals with cancer. Curriculum includes energetic principles of cancer, session protocols, ethics, an exploration of psychological issues, and more. 
3. Obtain professional liability insurance coverage. Sources of insurance.
4. Become matched with an individual with cancer to provide weekly energy therapy sessions.
