Team LifeSpark Joins the Colfax Marathon May 17
Support individuals with cancer while staying in shape. LifeSpark Cancer Resources is participating in the Colfax Marathon, May 17, to raise funds to support those with cancer. LifeSpark , a Colorado charity, reduces the harsh side effects of cancer treatment through weekly Reiki and Healing Touch sessions, and supports a feeling of peace and well-being. The program has been in place since 2002 and collaborates with area hospitals and churches.

Individuals can run or walk, and full marathon, half marathon, and relay teams are available. The run begins and ends at Denver City Park, and showcases one of the longest commercial streets in the country. Individuals running or walking for LifeSpark and raising funds will have their entry fees fully refunded. All pledge donations will be matched, giving donors the opportunity to double their gift.

Eugene Ebner is walking in memory of his mother. “My mother was my best friend. She died after a brutal two year battle with cancer. If LifeSpark would have been available to her, it would have given her peace and hope and would have relieved some of her suffering. This would have had a tremendous impact on our entire family. I am walking because I want others to have the relief that LifeSpark offers.

LifeSpark is committed to lighten the journey for those with cancer. Mile by mile, step by step, each person will be making a difference for those with cancer, while meeting new friends and experiencing something they will never forget. Join Team LifeSpark and make a difference. Register at www.LifeSparkNow.org.
