PARKER, Colo. – Join LifeSpark at our June 2th family bicycle event. The proceeds will benefit individuals with cancer in our program. The cost is $35 for individuals and $75 for a family of five.
Bicycle for a cause.
This 18-mile bicycle ride will begin at Pam Daale Park in Challenger Park Estates, Parker, Colo., located on Jordan Road between E-470 and Lincoln Avenue. Check in begins at 7:30 a.m., course begins at 8:00a.m, and last rider will begin 9:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend including families. This event is great for a first spring outing.
Designed as a family fun ride, the entire route 18 miles (9 miles out and 9 miles back along same route) on bike path with no street crossings. It is a fairly easy ride and you can ride as far out as you want and then come back. There are three rest stops. See 2010 brochure. View the route.
Details: Parking is available at Southeast Christian Church at 9650 South Jordan Road, Parker, CO 81034. You must check in before the ride. Helmets are required. No training wheels and no trikes, but burleys are OK. Participants under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by parent/guardian. Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
