Amy Bourdo, MS, NCC
Amy Bourdo is a psychotherapist in private practice since 2002. She specializes in adults with eating disorders, trauma, relationships, addictions and mood disorders and is the former Program Director for the Feelings Place Eating Disorder Program. Ms. Bourdo has developed psycho-educational classes on topics such as self-esteem, relationships, time and money management, fear management, and spirituality. She facilitates on-going support and process groups including business building, women’s issues and goal setting, as well as created and facilitated a 12 week self-esteem program for women.
Ms. Bourdo has a Master of Science in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Community Counseling from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. She is trained in Gestalt therapy, is EMDR Certified level 1 & 2, and is a National Certified Counselor. Amy currently volunteers as a Co-chairman of the professionals committee at the Eating Disorder Foundation and was a former committee member with the Eating Disorder Professionals of Colorado and volunteer for the Milwaukee Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence crisis hotline.
